Perched on a hilltop, this shingle-style home embodies the essence of coastal New England architecture with its widow's walk, decks, oversailing eaves, and multipaned windows offering stunning harbor views.

Despite significant design constraints, including a maximum height of twenty-six feet and a mandatory setback from the sea, these limitations were turned into advantages. The gambrel roof conveys a classic look while maximizing upper-level square footage. High ceilings create an expansive feel, while classical detailing evokes nostalgia. Multiple outdoor entertaining areas remain a focal point of the property, respecting the mandated setback from the water. The pool, strategically placed to the south, enjoys sunlight all day, leaving the harborside spaces perfect for garden parties and entertaining. The home’s design features sequential rooms along two primary spines, providing long, uninterrupted views.
